Registered Physiotherapist, MscA-PT, BHSc
Pelvic Health Specialist
(Currently on Maternity leave)
Rosalina graduated with a Master of Applied Science in Physical
Therapy from McGill University in November 2015. Prior to this, she
completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Western
Ontario. Her interests in pelvic floor physiotherapy piqued in her master’s
degree where she completed her level 1 training. Rosalina utilizes a
biopsychosocial approach to her assessments and treatment with an
emphasis on educating her clients, manual therapy, and functional exercise
prescription. To provide the most efficient and effective care, Rosalina
continues to take various post-graduate courses in pelvic floor and
orthopedic therapy. She is passionate about women’s health and enjoys
working with persistent pelvic pain and urogenital dysfunctions. Due to the
lack of open dialogue around bowel, bladder function and sexual health,
Rosalina is committed to educating and empowering her clients.
Rosalina encourages others to participate in healthy lifestyle changes and
engages clients to take an active role in their recovery to achieve their health
goals.
