Registered Physiotherapist
Jenna is a Resident Physiotherapist in Ontario as well as a licensed Physical Therapist in New York State, where she practiced in an outpatient private clinic before relocating to the Durham Region. During her time in New York, Jenna worked with a diverse range of patients, from young athletes to older adults, helping them achieve their functional and performance goals through individualized care.
She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the City University of New York-Hunter College, where she gained valuable experience treating orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric conditions during her clinical rotations. Jenna completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Mount Saint Vincent, where she was a member of the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team. Her background as a competitive athlete enhances her understanding of injury prevention and rehabilitation, which she integrates into her practice.
Jenna’s passion for physiotherapy began when she witnessed her grandparents improve their independence and mobility through dedicated care. Their success inspired her to pursue a career focused on helping others regain function and achieve their goals. Her passion deepened further after experiencing physiotherapy herself while recovering from soccer-related injuries. Being on the other side of treatment gave Jenna a unique understanding of the importance of receiving exceptional, patient-centered care. She is committed to working collaboratively with her patients, tailoring treatment to their individual needs. Whether assisting athletes with performance optimization or helping individuals regain strength and mobility, Jenna is excited to bring her expertise and passion to the Rx Physio team.
