Ryan is an Occupational therapist assistant/ Physiotherapist assistant (OTA/PTA) and recently Registered Kinesiologist. He graduated from the Anderson College OTA/PTA program with honours in 2015 and since then he has worked and interned in several different clinical settings. As an OTA/PTA, he has gained experience working as part of various allied health teams dealing with medical rehabilitation, orthopedic rehab, stroke and acquired brain injury rehab. Ryan strives to be a lifelong learner. After graduating from the OTA/PTA program, he attended the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and obtained a Health Sciences degree with a specialization in kinesiology in 2020. In 2024, he became certified as an FST practitioner with the goal of helping others optimize their mobility with assisted stretching and exercise. His experiences have provided him the ability to be a contributing member to a multi-disciplinary team while assisting patients through strength and conditioning programs and corrective mobility exercises. He has adopted a patient – centered mindset while guiding others along their rehabilitation journey. Working with individuals throughout their journey has given Ryan the joy of seeing others achieve their personal goals and obtain a level of independence as their self – confidence grows.
