Registered Physiotherapist
Nicholas (Nick) is passionate about helping athletes and individuals return to the activities they love without fear of re-injury.
Nick earned an Honours Bachelor of Health Science in Kinesiology from Ontario Tech University and completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. During his training, he gained hands-on experience at Rx Physio Health under Richard Cisneros, MSc PT, BHSc, and with spinal cord injury patients at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute's Lyndhurst Centre.
With a background in weightlifting, soccer, mixed martial arts (MMA), and running, as well as more than five years of experience as a personal trainer, Nick understands the physical and mental challenges of returning to sport, training, and everyday life after injury. Having navigated those demands himself, he brings both professional expertise and personal insight to his patients' recovery.
Nick's approach starts with a thorough assessment of biomechanics and movement, paired with a conversation about your goals and what you want to get back to. This helps him identify not only where the pain is, but its root cause.
From there, Nick builds an individualized rehab program grounded in education and collaborative goal setting to restore function, rebuild strength, and get patients back to what they love with confidence.
Hands-on treatment is a core part of Nick's approach. Certified in the Orthopaedic Division (AIM Level 1), he uses manual therapy, including soft tissue techniques and joint mobilizations, to reduce pain, improve mobility, and prepare the body to move well. This is paired with active rehab, so the relief felt in the session carries over into lasting strength and function.
Outside the clinic, Nick enjoys training in Muay Thai and MMA, lifting weights, camping, and hiking around Ontario
